On the weekends, groups of teenaged camp counselors would invade the home of a counselor's parents and veg out, eat all the food in the house, and try to catch up on sleep and adult conversation. Then, on Sunday, we put on our matching outfits and headed back for another exhausting, fun-filled week.
That would be me on the right, with my oh-so-stylin' 80's poodle perm ....

How fun! Those days were fun, weren't they? Oh, to be carefree! I wouldn't go back though :D
Love the permed hair. On you, of course, mine was more fro-like!
Thanks for participating!
oh this makes me miss my camp days too! I encourage all of my students to work away at a camp during the summer. Its one of the highlights of my life.
I used to LOVE summer camp. Now my kids are getting to the age where they can participate. I hope they like it as much as I did.
L-o-v-e the hair!
Sounds like lots of TIRING fun!
Never worked at a camp, but I chaperoned last week at our church camp. Now that was an experience. :)
I love the pics! I think we all had those hairstyles. ;)
Oh I just noticed it says you are in Middle TN!! I am from Middle TN, the very lowest part in the middle you can get. Lincoln County :)
Those picture were taken at the aquarium in Chattanooga.
LOL, I'm loving the poodle perm!
I loved camp. We didn't get that much time off so you were living in luxury! haha. I love the hair.
How fun and I love the picture - too cute!!
Thanks for stopping by today and leaving the supportive comment it was nice to see you. Hope to see you again - Kellan
Man we could have been perm twins! You know, I don't think I enjoyed the camps I went to as much as I should have...
Oh and do you mind if I add you to my links?
Camp counseling memories are some of the best, aren't they?
Hey - have a good weekend - Kellan
