WHY MOM DOESN'T BUY STICKERS

Big Daddy's twin sister (Tracy) and her husband (Matthew) are moving near us from out of state. They will be living in our house for about three weeks while they find work and a place to live.

A short aside - the fact that Big Daddy is a fraternal twin has me panicked. I do not want to give birth to more than one child at a time. First of all, being pregnant with twins has to be like having a circus in your uterus. Second, it's hard enough pushing one kid out. Third, I already haven't had a full eight hours of sleep since I was in my second trimester with Bean. How much more sleep deprivation can a person survive? That being said ...

Aunt Tracy does not have children; so, she has taken it upon herself to spoil mine. The upside is that the cherubs are worn out before energetic Aunt Tracy is. The downside is that my children are showered with such parent-reviled things as Play-Doh and stickers. Here is the result of two sheets of stickers in the hands of my cherubs (and the reason why I don't give my cherubs stickers):

And, Mr. David (here doing estimates with Big Daddy) was not immune.

Cute pictues - HA! I have twin girls (16 years old - identical). The way I understand it is that the husband has little to do with whether or not you have twins - the woman carries the eggs and she either produces two at a time (fraternal) or the one egg splits (identical). I could be wrong about this. I have a friend who had twin brothers that are fraternal. She herself had fraternal boy twins - but ... so did one of her brothers. What is the odds of that. I don't think they know all this biological stuff - for sure - you know. Let me just say - it is a JOY haveing twins and the carrying of them can be a challenge - but you could do it. I'm only 5'2" (gained 95 lbs) and I did it.

Have fun with your family moving closer.

Thanks for coming by - nice to see you. Take care - Kellan

I was starting to feel better until I read "gained 95 pounds." Aack! So, you were basically double your normal size? Yeah, I'm still panicked - ha ha!

I am glad I am not the only mom who does not let their kids play with play-do, I can not stand the stuff.

Thanks for coming by my blog!

That is too funny. When ever the boys get stickers my walls suffer. ;)

Oh, well...if they ever do have kids, they had better watch out for you and the "revenge" gifts you might bring to their house, LOL!

I may have commented already, i didn't check, but I just read this again and I love that your DH looks like a cartoon. Okay I guess I want to say that I THINK he looks like a cartoon.

I don't have kids play with play-do I just give them mud or dirt.

As the mother of twin girls (fraternal) I've got to tell you watching them fight in utero is one of the most AMAZING things I ever experienced---LOL!!

Found your blog via HollyNeedsAHobby, I must say it really brightens my day!
