After about a week, my eye recovered from the poking. A day after the incident, I decided to document it for posterity (but not for any photo albums or scrapbooks). See if you can guess which eye got poked?
I must say, I especially love the glassy-eyed effect caused by the antibiotic ointment.

Ugh!! Just looking at it makes my eyes water!!
I think you must be quite talented. I've never actually met someone who got a paper-cut on an eyeball. Very impressive! (And I say this as someone who fell off the bleachers at a basketball game and managed to crack several ribs.)

Oh fun! I managed to need eye ointment for several months straight last year. First it was pink eye (I thought it was from the cold I had) then when I finally got better, I had an allergic reaction to having had the pink eye. So I'm sympathizing with you! Hope it's feeling better now.
